UpGrade has a great experience in planning and managing funding projects, especially for private companies, but also public bodies and non profit associations. Until this moment, we have mainly worked on Regional and National funding programmes. 

So we acquired an important background, which is helping us now to develop projects at a European and international level.

To give some example of our work concerning Regional or National projects, we helped a Certification company to develop an e-business project for the improvement of their work activities and we follow an Engineering company, dealing with technical installations, and other private companies, in the realization R&D projects, all financed by national funding programmes. 

But the core of our traditional activities in the Financial Division mainly concerns financed training courses for public and private entities, for which we assure access to grants, organization of courses and teaching (see Training-Products and Solutions).

Currently, our Funding sector is mainly focused on the development of European projects, thanks to our experience in project management and to the setting-up of a network of international contacts with universities, cultural associations, social entities, educational institutions and private companies. 

We aim at supporting local entities in the participation to European projects, helping them in call for proposal analysis, partners search, project drafting, planning and managing project activities, dissemination and cost claims.

We recently proposed a project based on the European programme “Youth in the World” for a local Association which works for young people in the field of art and culture. The project will consist in the realization of an international theatre performance on the subject of interethnic and multicultural values, made by young people for young people. Since the programme has an international dimension, the partnership involves not only European, but also non-European countries (Italy, Turkey, Uganda and Tanzania).

We also helped a local school in developing a project to promote active citizenship of young students and ensure the remembrance of Second World War persecutions, trough the collection of direct evidences of elderly people who lived that experience.

At the moment, we are working to participate as a partner in a project concerning environmental issues. In fact, thanks to the specific technical competences of its operational sectors, UpGrade can also participate as a project partner, especially in its more consolidated areas of activity as Training, Management Consulting, Safety & Environment (see Consulting and Training Division catalogue).
